We love old boats, and so do you!

The marinas and well-known boat repair companies can charge over $100 an hour. Let Dan help. His prices are reasonable, and you might end up learning some valuable things about your boat in the process. Dan has logged over 30 years of experience in boat building and boat restoration.

"I enjoy being able to help." —Daniel Patten

Fiberglass boats require gel coat repairs, including customized color match gel coat. They also do wet core in transom or decks, grounding damage, collision damage, insurance claims, bow thruster installations, paint repair, and mold making. They can even make an identical hatch if one is missing.

Dan prefers using vinylester for hull repair. Vinylester is much stronger and more waterproof than original resin. It also makes much stronger secondary bond (any bond to aged fully cured resin). All of Dan's fillers are vinylester. NO BONDO!

Dan also prefers 3M abrasives, tapes compounds, Awlgrip, and Alexseal polyurethane paints.
